Why is a small proportion of gasoline necessary?

In engines with direct fuel injection, the petrol injectors are located directly in the combustion chambers, and their tips are exposed to intense temperature and the effects of combustion products. The injectors therefore require a flow of petrol to be cleaned, and the flowing fuel could cool them. Therefore, the LPG installation for direct injection engines should not permanently turn off the gasoline injectors.

The amount of gasoline used to clean and cool the injectors may vary, depending on the capabilities/algorithms of the gas controller and the specifics of a specific car model. In the ALEX IDEA system, the proportion of gasoline is usually between 5% and 10%. In the case of more complex drive units, this may be around 15%.

Many people who are considering installing LPG in their car wonder how much gasoline is consumed while using the system. Sequential gas injection in the volatile phase, which, thanks to modern solutions, enables the conversion of popular engines with direct and dual fuel injection to LPG. The system can be adapted to most cars equipped with electromagnetic injectors. It works with naturally aspirated and turbocharged engines, with many types of gas injectors and various gas level sensors.

Ultra360° LPG/CNG Gas Filters

The Ultra360° gravity settling filter with an original design of the filter unit guarantees effective filtration of LPG fuel and top-class ergonomics. It has a replaceable polyester filter insert. The inlet and outlet connections are located on separate, independent elements of the filter housing, so the angle between them can be freely adjusted. RGB Switch

Distinguished by a minimalist design, the switch is equipped with SMD RGB LEDs, the color and intensity of the backlight can be personalized. The housing is neat and small, and has a symmetrical shape. It’s available in a flat version – recessed (V1) or classic one (V2). It indicates the type of power supply (petrol/gas) and the gas level in the tank. It allows you to select the type of power supply and informs you about system errors.
