Development of an innovative automotive LPG installation to power gasoline drive units equipped with direct fuel injection
ALEX Sp. z o. o. is implementing the research and development project POIR.01.01.01-00-1065/20 “Development of an innovative automotive LPG installation to power gasoline drive units equipped with direct fuel injection”.
The aim of the project is to develop an innovative fourth-generation LPG installation intended to power gasoline engines equipped with direct fuel injection, prepared for implementation in production at ALEX Sp. z o. o.
The result of the project will be a 4th generation LPG gas installation developed and implemented for production, intended to power gasoline engines equipped with direct fuel injection, characterized by:
- replacing ethylene with LPG gas at the level of approximately 90%, increased durability and universality in relation to any engine power thanks to the use of a membrane-less device for expanding and regulating the pressure of LPG gas based on electronic control (reducer – electronic evaporator),
- reduced production costs thanks to the use of injectors with a structure enabling the use of a production method involving high-temperature sintering of powders for the production of cores/magnet cores and injection of plastics for the production of other injector elements (housings, feet, nozzles, etc.).
Value of eligible project costs: PLN 3,015,545.00. Contribution of European Funds: PLN 1,956,314.38.
