We are celebrating a historic moment – several years after the initiation of the dual education project by the president of ALEX Sp. z. o. o., Tadeusz Ożarowski, the development of the program was supported by European funds!
It’s about the so-called Dual Education, i.e. education based on cooperation between a vocational school and an enterprise. The partners share responsibilities related to the education of students – theoretical knowledge is passed on at school, and the company takes responsibility for practice. Our employee Dawid Micun owes his current job at ALEX to dual education. – The idea is very good. We learn by working in a team of experienced people. This offers great learning opportunities, he emphasizes.
Over PLN 3.1 million from EU funds will be allocated to support practical vocational training in three vocational schools in Podlasie. The coordinator of the first one is the Center for the Promotion of Innovation and Development, which received over PLN 2.5 million for “School with a Perspective”. The project will be implemented by the First Level Vocational School No. 10 in Białystok and the ALEX company. It will be used by 120 students and fifteen teachers. As school principal Agnieszka Guzik explained, the project will last three years. In addition to practical vocational training, classes for students and training for teachers, some laboratories will be equipped. Meanwhile, almost PLN 1 million will go to the Vocational Training Center in Białystok for the implementation of the dual education project “Dobry start” intended for Level I Vocational Vocational Schools in Zambrów and Siemiatycze. There, 80 students will benefit from the program.
The signing of the groundbreaking contract took place on July 18, 2024 at our company’s headquarters. We hosted, among others: Marshal of the Podlaskie Voivodeship, Łukasz Prokorym, member of the voivodeship management board, Bogdan Dyjuk, Member of the Parliament of the Republic of Poland, Krzysztof Truskolaski, president of the management board of the Center for the Promotion of Innovation and Development, Sebastian Rynkiewicz, president of the management board of the Vocational Development Facility, Zdzisław Wilczko and director of the first-cycle Vocational School No. 10 in Białystok, Agnieszka Guzik.
